Submissions - Ancestral Land Rights Commission
The Commission invites written submissions
The Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Claims of Ancestral Land Rights and Restitution hereby invites, individuals, interest groups, communities or associations to submit written submissions with respect to any matter that forms part of the Commission’s Terms of Reference.
The written submission may be submitted during the period starting from 20 May 2019 until 21 June 2019.
The written submissions to the Commission must;
- Preferably be prepared in the English language, but any of the Namibian languages is acceptable;
- Where possible, be typewritten or word-processed,
- Every claim, proposal or submission must be divided into paragraphs, including subparagraph, which must be consecutively numerically numbered and must contain a clear and concise statement of the material facts on which the person relies for his or her claim, proposal or submission, with sufficient particularity;
- State the name of the claim, provide background information and evidence to the claim, and make recommendations regarding how restitution regarding the claim should be addressed.
